Hi, I’m Kristen

I’m an Australian artist painting the kind of light and colour that makes you feel like summer is just around the corner.

After studying Neuroscience, training as an Audiologist, and spending 15 years working in a Medical Technology I recently took a leap of faith to pursue art. It was a big decision, but the pull to create became impossible to ignore- and I haven’t looked back.

My acrylic work is unashamedly bright and joyful: sun-drenched beach scenes, a cold glass of something delicious, tables that feel like a long lazy afternoon with good company. I lived in the UK for 13 years, which is maybe why I chase golden light and nostalgic beach scenes harder than ever!

Alongside my colourful paintings I also create delicate graphite and charcoal portrait commissions - most often capturing children at that particular age you never want to forget. It’s quiet, careful work, and I love it deeply. It’s an honour to get to turn a special moment into a one-of-a-kind artwork that makes you smile whenever you look at it.

When I’m not creating I’m a mum to two little ones who keep life full and wonderfully chaotic.
